Project Description

On this project we opened up the front of the church to provide easy access, including building a disabled ramp, steps and railings. To the front entrance we fitted a modern contemporary porch canopy which gave a nice contrast to the old brick and stone façade of the church. Internally we completely removed the internal front wall inserting heavy supporting steels. This opened up the church to the entrance foyer. We then fitted a substantial bi-folding screen to enable the areas to be separated when required. We built a single storey side extension to accommodate a disabled toilet.
