Project Description

Wield was an extensive project and offered us the unique opportunity to build a winery in which high quality champagne style English wine is produced. The first challenge on this project was the diversion of high voltage overhead cables that crossed the site. The project also consisted of partial demolition of existing industrial units connecting these to a steel portal structure. The remaining industrial buildings have a brick and flint outer skin added with oak panels and the building of a new barrel barn and estate office suite with facilities for public tours, constructed using brick and flint with oak joinery and new yard, roads and agricultural buildings.
